I have been an Income Tax Preparer since 2002, and shortly thereafter, decided that it was time to become an IRS Enrolled Agent.  I was due to take the exam to practice before the IRS in September 2004 and then again in September of 2005.  Unfortunately both times I was not able to sit for the exam due to an elderly family member, Bob, being hospitalized and needing extensive care.  The next few years were spent both being Bob's primary caregiver as well as continuing to prepare tax returns. 

In late August of 2009, our beloved Bob passed away.

Since passing all three parts of the SEE (Special Enrollment Examination) in 2011,  I have recently received my Enrolled Agent card, a passionate desire since I began my career as a tax professional.

I enjoy being able to assist clients with all areas of taxation, from preparation to resolving IRS issues, as well as personal and business tax planning.  I've always had great luck in dealing with the IRS by following one simple rule - give courtesy and respect to all people in all things.

I spend my free time after tax season pursuing my hobbies and taking care of the animals in my household, two cats, two dogs, and a turtle.  My family has been very blessed!
